The children homes

In Hungary there are around 19.000 orphans, most of them live with tutors paid by the government for raising the kids. Those kids with special needs, or those who have not a tutor assigned, or if they have been rejected are housed into the childrencare system.

We support in Hungary KUL, a Central-European Foundation for Children home Kids and People in Aftercare.

Tiszadob

The Children Home is located 50 Kms from Tiszadob, a small village in the Northern Great Plain Region of eastern Hungary:

Number of kids: 81

In Tiszadob children home there is a speciality for kids who have special needs (mainly related with behaviour problems). As the State cut their budget it takes also a lot to make them travel to Tiszadob.

Project: Since the kids here seem to be very good at horse riding, we want to finance a year training for them

Mátészalka:

The Children Home is located in Mátészalka, a town in the Northern Great Plain Region of eastern Hungary:

In this childrenhome there are 160 kids.

Here there are so many kids and not enough educators to ensure that specific support that children, and especialy these children would require. Some of them are already attending a guitar class and some a dance class.

Project: the kids attending these courses are having good results and we would like to extend to others

Baktalórántháza

The Children Home is located in several small houses spread in several villages in the area such as Berkesz, Baktalórántháza, Kisvárda, small villages in the Northern Great Plain Region of eastern Hungary:

Number of kids: 100

Because of the very small villages they don’t have the opportunity to attend regular classes.

Project: provide to the several children homes the basic for the school

Nyírbátor

The Children Home is located in Nyírbátor, a town in the Northern Great Plain Region of eastern Hungary:
